As a doctor, we are trained to identify ills patients which required extra care and support.

After 1 years of HOship, i thought i acquired the skill. I just suddenly realize I that I slipped up. And now my patient is in grave danger!!!!!

My patient is an elderly man, presented with prolonged fever, had been warded for 1 month, investigated and not response to 2 different course antibiotics.

Today, he looked rather unwell and wasted, worst since admission and abdomen had distended and still having fever..

Maybe I not taking my patient’s illness serious enough. Or i perceived that patient may having TB after all (one of the differential diagnosis).

I hope do something for him tomorrow…………………..

Let get a earlier CT appointment for a start….
