Which are the better terminology, Medical student or student doctor?

When I was a student, I don’t see the differences.

Now, not even a year in service, I would prefer to call a student who student medicine a medical student.

There is a huge different being a student and a houseman.

Let face it, student responsibility is to study and study and to pass exam and to get the degree.

While a HO is to jaga and jaga and make sure your patients under your care to get well.

So, in actual situation, student see the patient and “USE” them for their study. Most of them would not stay longer than necessary because there is alway a exam soon.

HO stayed in hospital hostel and  they had some informal assessments ( of little importance)

SO, before you get your MBBS/MD, best to call one a student.
