Yesterday, a post-op patient ask me whether i the one whom operated on her ( i actually the apparatus holder). I said yes and she was really grateful for it. I felt so motivated and it’s really help to lift my spirit after a week of blunders in my works. I considered my self lucky as that no one was harmed because of the mistakes.
Today, the pro-government NST’s headline is focusing on medical negligence. ( the biggest news was hide somewhere in the paper).
Anyway, it’s remind me that practising medicine is like working on the mine field. We’re try the best to remove mine ( to cure) and yet at time, try to avoid being blown up to piece ( negligence).
I guess i must buck up and improved my skills (one mistake was due to my poor clinical skill).
